Do you feel like you have battle the blank page? Do you need new clients? Do you want clients you LOVE to teach? You can conquer the blank page to write effectively about your Pilates business. You do have something to say about Pilates and there are people that will listen and without judgment. If you are unsure of where to start you are not alone. Narrowing down a topic and refining your message can be overwhelming. Even figuring out where you want to share your message can be a challenge. There are so many options. Learn how to approach your writing from a clear, organized place to accomplish what you want from your business.

I am a Pilates Instructor and a writer. I needed more Pilates clients. I was challenged by another teacher to use my writing skills to write about Pilates on Instagram to do this. I didn’t want to but I had to try everything. So I did it and it worked. I got more clients than I could handle. But this was not without some struggle. I had no idea where to start with writing about Pilates with the goal of getting more clients. I used my skills and after some time figured it out.

As my business exploded and my follower count grew, other teachers told me they had no idea what to write and they loved what I wrote. They too wanted more business. They too felt the need to share on social media to get more business but were unsure of where to start. Most teachers think they have nothing to say about Pilates. Others are great writers but they have too many ideas to narrow down a topic. Plenty of teachers are trying to reach everyone instead of writing to their niche audience.

I have been writing for over two decades in many different capacities. I wrote a book and have been published in many outlets online. I also worked in PR. I took all the skills I learned from these experiences and from going to college for journalism and communications to put together a writing program for Pilates professionals. I help teachers figure out who they want to speak to, what they want to say and get the confidence to share their words. I created a course I have presented live. I have worked one on one with teachers to solve their individual writing challenges. I’ve run writing circles giving teachers an opportunity to create confidence through writing within the group, as well as sharing their words and feedback with each other.
